หอสมุดศิริราช คณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุมวิชาการกลุ่มห้องสมุดสถาบันแพทยศาสตร์แห่งประเทศไทย (Medical Day) ครั้งที่ 17 ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Medical Library of the Future” ณ ห้องประชุมสิรินธร อาคารเฉลิมพระเกียรติ เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 23 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2569 โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์อภิชาติ อัศวมงคลกุล คณบดีคณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล กล่าวเปิดการประชุม และ ศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ธวัชชัย อัครวิพุธ รองคณบดีคนที่ 1 และผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนแพทย์ศิริราช กล่าวรายงาน

การประชุมมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนให้บรรณารักษ์และผู้ปฏิบัติงานห้องสมุดทางการแพทย์มีความรู้และความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับแนวโน้ม เทคโนโลยี และนโยบายที่มีผลต่อการดำเนินงานของห้องสมุดทางการแพทย์ในอนาคต ตลอดจนพัฒนาเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างห้องสมุดในกลุ่มสถาบันแพทยศาสตร์ทั้งในระดับนโยบายและระดับการปฏิบัติงาน รวมถึงการขยายความร่วมมือสู่ระดับภูมิภาค เพื่อเสริมสร้างการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศ และประสบการณ์ด้านการบริหารจัดการห้องสมุดการแพทย์อย่างยั่งยืน

การประชุมได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิและผู้บริหารที่ทำหน้าที่กำกับดูแลด้านห้องสมุดจาก 3 สถาบัน ได้แก่ ศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ธวัชชัย อัครวิพุธ รองคณบดีคนที่ 1 และผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนแพทย์ศิริราช คณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.นายแพทย์ชูศักดิ์ โอกาศเจริญ ประธานคณะอนุกรรมการบริหารทรัพยากรการเรียนรู้ คณะแพทยศาสตร์โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และรองศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์วันล่า กุลวิชิต ประธานคณะกรรมการพัฒนาหอสมุดคณะแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย

ในโอกาสนี้ ศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ธวัชชัย อัครวิพุธ รองคณบดีคนที่ 1 และผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนแพทย์ศิริราช ได้ทำหน้าที่ส่งมอบเจ้าภาพการจัดการประชุม Medical Day ครั้งถัดไปให้แก่คณะแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย โดยรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.แพทย์หญิงโสฬพัทธ์ เหมรัญช์โรจน์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายนวัตกรรมแนวบูรณาการและเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล คณะแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เป็นผู้แทนขึ้นรับมอบธงเจ้าภาพ

[Siriraj Medical Library Hosts the 17th Medical Day Conference on “Medical Library of the Future”]

Siriraj Medical Library, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, hosted the 17th Medical Day Conference of the Medical Libraries Consortium of Thailand under the theme “Medical Library of the Future” on Friday, 23 January 2026, at the Sirindhorn Conference Room, Chalermprakiat Building.

The conference was officially opened by Professor Apichart Asawamongkolkul, MD, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, and the conference report was delivered by Professor Thawatchai Akaraviputh, MD, Deputy Dean and Director of Siriraj Medical School.

The objective of the conference was to promote and support librarians and medical library professionals by enhancing their knowledge and understanding of emerging trends, technologies, and policies that will impact the future operations of medical libraries. The conference also aimed to strengthen collaborative networks among medical libraries within medical institutions at both policy and operational levels, as well as to expand cooperation at the regional level in order to foster sustainable exchange of knowledge, information resources, and experiences in medical library management.

The conference featured distinguished speakers and executives responsible for overseeing medical libraries from three leading institutions, namely:

• Professor Thawatchai Akaraviputh, MD, Deputy Dean and Director of Siriraj Medical School, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University
• Assistant Professor Chusak Okascharoen, MD, PhD, Chair of Learning Resources Management Committee, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University
• Associate Professor Wanla Kulwichit, MD, Chair of Medical Library Development Committee, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University

In addition, the conference was honored to welcome distinguished speakers from both Thailand and overseas, including:

On this occasion, Professor Thawatchai Akaraviputh, MD, Deputy Dean and Director of Siriraj Medical School, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital formally handed over the host role for the next Medical Day Conference to the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. The host flag was received by Associate Professor Solaphat Hemrungrojn, MD, PhD, Associate Dean for Integrated Innovation and Digital Technologies Affairs, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University.
